Everytime someone comments about the F&G icons it makes me so happy. Just because almost nobody I know has ever seen the show. Shame really.

That's a shame. You should force them all to watch it. Many times. Offer cookies, it always works.

I got (with some help) my entire house (house, in this case, being a housing unit at my university) to watch the entire show in our lounge, once. It was 30-40 people in there. They almost universally loved it.

The only person who I was able to convince was my mother and she loves it. But my friends and I have very little in common when it comes to tv shows. I can try offering cookies but I'm a terrible baker so they'll have to do with store bought! Plus, I think they've grown wise to my tricks since I've tried so many times to get them to watch Wonderfalls(what kind of crazy people wouldn't want to watch Wonderfalls?).

I adore your layout. I'm lazy and have no photoshop skills, but I might try to learn some just to make my LJ pretty. You got any suggestions for basic PS tutorial starting points?

I just now got to see the first 15 eps of Veronica Mars because I don't have UPN. It's killing me that I can't watch it at the same time as most everyone else. I am almost obsessed with the show so I had to make a new header. I can look for some good PS tutorials or even help out if I can. I use PSP8 because PS and I don't get along too well. It hates me and the feeling is mutual.

Hmm. Don't trouble yourself, I can find them myself if you don't have any on hand. Sadly, there appears to be nothing closer to PSP for a Mac, so it's either The Gimp (which is too ugly under my Mac for me to handle it) or PS for me.

Veronica Mars is too good for words.

There is a tutorial at Hybrid-Genesis that is pretty good. It's more artistic than most of the headers and banners that I make. Almost every tool used is a PS default and she is really good at writing tutorials so it should be easy to follow.

Agreed! If it wasn't for my love of these shows I would have no graphic skills at all. It is too much fun making grphics and such. I should probably get out of the house more...
